Success that doesn’t reach a child is unfinished | The Aviva Week 2025 Hike | Nyanchi Anderson

We said we were going hiking.
What we didn’t say is that some children were walking with us — in spirit.
The Circle of Aviva has a way of turning footsteps into questions. With every climb, one thought kept returning: there are children and orphans who don’t get to choose their path yet. They rely on others to walk for them, to stand with them, to believe ahead of them.

"The Aviva exists for that reason — working for those who cannot work for themselves" - Wanfon Pelagie
Today, that meant walking with intention, thinking about helping children, supporting orphans, and remembering that donating isn’t about how much you give, but why you give.
Here’s the quiet truth: everything is that small. One step. One act. One decision to care. That’s how futures change.
This is why Open Dreams matters. Before the congratulations email, before the applause, there’s service. There’s showing up. There’s choosing impact over comfort.
Take-home message: success that doesn’t reach a child is unfinished. Walk far, but walk for others.
Small steps. Brave hearts. Purpose that outlives the hike.
