A proud day for a boy from Mbonge Meteke, who came from nothing to walk the halls of the greats like Adam Smith, Lord Kelvin, James Watt etc.
To have graduated with an MSc. in International and Comparative Education from the University of Glasgow, - Russell Group University, top 10 in the UK and top 100 in the world - as a Chevening Awards (FCDO) scholar has been the pinnacle of my education journey.
According to the script written for me by the early years of my life, I would not have even finished high school, but here I am bagging a second Master's. Education is indeed a great equalizer. Thanks to my incredible sister, Dr Naomi Mesoe , and her husband, Professor Nkemasong, who took me in since primary school and have been the inspiration for today’s success. Everlasting gratitude goes to my mum Mokwe Elisabeth, for everything I am today. My sisters Nanje Bright Ule Nanje Judith Rosa Obase Nanje Delphine, my brother Nanje Promice, and my late sister Rapha.

This journey won’t be possible without people like Akaba James of Open Dreams, the greatest advocate for educational equality. Huge thanks go to the backbones of international education in Cameroon UK in Cameroon and the U.S. Embassy in Yaoundé. To my friends and colleagues, I say thank you. My graduation party is reserved for another post.
