On Wednesday, August 6th, 2025, we participated in the 2025 Private Higher Education Forum, which was organized at the Yaoundé Conference Hall, on the theme, “The Student–Entrepreneurship in Private Higher Education in Cameroon: From Incubation to Business Creation”.

The event brought together over 100 private higher institutions from across Cameroon, each showcasing innovative projects developed within their respective incubation centers. The central focus was transforming school projects into viable businesses and startups.
We had the privilege of listening to the Minister of Higher Education, who commended private sector educational actors for their research initiatives and the entrepreneurial projects they are nurturing. The forum also featured inspiring testimonies from former students who have successfully transitioned into entrepreneurship, as well as from current students leading promising projects.

At the stands, we engaged in valuable networking with various experts and project leaders. We explored diverse ventures, from pisciculture and animal farming to the production of tomato and strawberry wine. Notably, we discovered impressive tech innovations, including software designed to revolutionize blood donation in Cameroon by efficiently connecting donors and recipients.
The experience was both enlightening and inspiring, reaffirming the importance of linking education, innovation, and entrepreneurship to drive sustainable development.
