Designation of Bill N. Agha as the Deputy Country Director of Open Dreams, Cameroon

It is with great pleasure that Open Dreams (OD) announces the designation of Bill N. Agha as the Deputy Country Director of Open Dreams, Cameroon, effective immediately.
This designation is a recognition of Bill’s distinguished record of service to young people, his demonstrated leadership across education, technology, entrepreneurship, and innovation, and his sustained commitment to building platforms through which the next generation of Cameroonian changemakers can learn, lead, create, and serve.
For more than a decade, Bill Agha has been an integral and defining leader within the Open Dreams ecosystem. As the Pioneer OD Regional Program Coordinator for the Centre Region and, more broadly, through his CEO leadership of the renowned and bustling TiC Foundation, which he founded, he has consistently championed youth innovation, mentorship, digital skills development, entrepreneurship, public speaking, and community impact. His leadership has helped create pathways through which young people from across Cameroon can build capacity, discover opportunity, and position themselves for meaningful impact both locally and globally.
Bill's contributions to Open Dreams have extended well beyond formal program coordination. As Chairman of the 10th Anniversary Celebration of Open Dreams, held under the theme “A Decade of Triumph,” he played a significant role in marking an important milestone in the organization’s journey. He has also visited and engaged with Open Dreams Scholars across institutions in Africa, Asia, and the United States, strengthening the sense of community that continues to define the top-notch holistic mentorship approach within the Open Dreams family.
Through the TiC Summit, organized by the TiC Foundation, Bill Agha has helped establish one of the most significant platforms for emerging technology entrepreneurs and innovators from across Cameroon to build capacity, develop networks, and prepare to thrive in an increasingly global digital economy. His masterclasses and engagements across Open Dreams programs, including the Aviva Initiative, public speaking and leadership programs, technology and entrepreneurship initiatives, and youth capacity-building activities, have further demonstrated his commitment to developing human capital through an innovative, holistic, and deeply people-centered approach.

A 2025 Mandela Washington Fellow at the University of Notre Dame, USA, Bill Agha brings to this new responsibility a growing record of entrepreneurial leadership, international exposure, education and technology diplomacy, and community-centered innovation. He represents one of the promising rising leaders within the Open Dreams ecosystem whose leadership continues to reflect the organization’s belief that opportunity becomes transformative when it is shared and matched with the appropriate action.
In his capacity as Deputy Country Director, Open Dreams Cameroon, Bill N. Agha will work closely with the Country Director and the wider Open Dreams leadership to strengthen the organization’s programs, partnerships, institutional presence, and community impact across Cameroon and beyond. He will contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at expanding access to educational opportunities, strengthening pathways for young people, deepening institutional and international partnerships, and empowering emerging leaders to pursue their aspirations and contribute meaningfully to society.
This designation also creates an opportunity to amplify the reach of Open Dreams’ community-centered work, locally and internationally, drawing on Bill’s extensive networks, entrepreneurial experience, and demonstrated ability to convene a team and young people around ideas, opportunity, innovation, and service.
We are confident that his vision, character, entrepreneurial leadership, experience in education and technology, commitment to human capital development, and demonstrated spirit of service will further strengthen the leadership of Open Dreams and advance our shared commitment to Equalizing Access to Educational Opportunities for Community Impact.
For the many young people still searching for opportunity, for the emerging leaders waiting for someone to believe in them, and for the communities whose aspirations deserve a platform, this is ultimately a responsibility of service.
On behalf of the Open Dreams Global Family, we warmly welcome Bill Agha to this important leadership responsibility. We look forward with confidence to the next chapter of service, innovation, opportunity, and community impact that this new responsibility represents.
