I am excited to share that I will be attending the fourth cohort of the Nairobi Summer School on Climate Justice at Chuka University in Tharaka Nithi County, Kenya from June 24th to July 7th, 2024.
I'm honored to represent Cameroon as one of the delegates among 284 participants from 87 countries worldwide.
The training began with a high-level international symposium on climate justice under the theme "Igniting Youth Power for Enhanced Global Solidarity on Climate Justice," which included the Deputy Ambassador from Azerbaijan, Vice Chancellors from Mt. Kenya Region Universities, the Principal Secretary, State Department of Higher Education, and other dignitaries.
I'm looking forward to gaining the knowledge and tools necessary to become an effective climate justice advocate in my community and beyond. As young people, we need to change the narrative that we are only leaders of tomorrow by taking action to make our voices heard, as silence is violence.
