Empowering Global ELT in the Era of AI: TESOL 2025 Award Recipient - Anestin Chi

Congratulations to our team member, Anestin Chi, who is a recipient of the Leadership and Mentoring Program Award from the TESOL International Association.

The award constitutes a travel grant for Anestin to attend the annual TESOL Convention, this year in Long Beach, California, USA, and a year-long mentorship program with one of TESOL International's past presidents.

This is the second award Anestin has bagged from TESOL International Association - the first being the Betty Azar Travel grant in 2022. Anestin authors one of the most widely read posts on the Open Dreams blog.

The theme of the 2025 TESOL Convention is “Empowering Global ELT in the Era of AI”. The TESOL International Convention is the largest professional development event in the English Language teaching field.

English Language teachers can apply for both TESOL International and IATEFL. The application window opens in May each year.
