Wrestling with the scores

The day is here, the moment’s come,

We hold our breath, we wait, we drum.

Eyes on the screen, heartbeats rise,

With wrestling thoughts and endless sighs

Asking ourselves, whether our dreams will take flight

“Will I still apply to my dream school’s door?”

“Is there any hope left? Should I aim for less (or perhaps more)?”

“Did I make the mark, or did I fall too low?”

These restless whispers, they ebb and flow.

But listen, dear fam, to the truth I tell,

Failure’s no end, it’s just a step: do well!

Each stumble builds a path you’ll see,

To something greater, where you’re meant to be.

Fear not the numbers, they don’t define,

The dream that’s yours, the future’s shine.

For in each fall, a lesson thrives,

And through the cracks, a seedling rise.

So, laugh at the worry, it’s just a phase,

Greater things await you, brighter days.

And if all else fails, just know it’s true, Even Einstein probably bombed a test or two! 😄
