The Sir Healthi March Tour in Bui, organized by Dr. Platine Nyuyki and Healthi First in partnership with Open Dreams, She is Strength, Champions of the Female Voice, and generous individuals, has had a remarkable impact on vulnerable communities.

This successful outreach served communities such as Kwanso, Mbah, Kai, Mbokam, and Wasi Ber, in collaboration with local integrated health centers. These areas were selected due to their remoteness and lack of access to medical consultations, obstetrical echographies, and surgical care, compounded by financial hardships.

Throughout the tour, Dr. Platine Nyuyki, Ndapo Pascaline, and Nyingsha Standley, alongside local health center staff led by the Chief of Centers, provided free and subsidized medical services to underserved populations.

In total, the program impacted nearly 500 individuals, offering health education, free consultations, modern family planning methods, delivery kits, sanitary pads, subsidized obstetrical echographies, and minor surgeries. The community’s response was overwhelmingly positive, especially as many had not seen a doctor in months due to financial constraints and mobility challenges in the context of ongoing conflict.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our partners, individual donors, and local authorities for their unwavering support. Despite the challenges posed by insecure roads and security risks, resulting in several accidents, this outreach was a resounding success.

A special thank you goes to UNFPA for their generous donation of delivery kits, which made a profound difference in the lives of underprivileged women.
