I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely appreciate Open Dreams and its visionary Founders for building an organization that continues to transform lives
When I joined Open Dreams three years ago, I honestly had no idea what it felt like to board an aeroplane (sure, this sounds funny now), but it was my reality. Looking back today, after three years of growth, opportunities, and exposure at Open Dreams (OD), I am more convinced than ever that the right environment and the right community can completely change the trajectory of a person's life.
OD has been that place for me. It has challenged me to dream bigger, see the world differently, and believe that opportunities once beyond my imagination could become reality.
Being selected as a Mastercard Foundation Scholar at Arizona State University is an opportunity I never truly believed was meant for someone like me. Yet here I am, preparing to begin this new chapter, and I know I did not get here alone.
To everyone who believed in my potential long before I could see the possibilities for myself, thank you.
A special thank you to Mr. Akaba A. James and Bill Njoh for believing in me and continually encouraging me to pursue excellence.
To my mentors who generously took time out of their busy schedules to review my personal statements and guide me through the application process, Madam Yiviri Rasifatu, Mr Neba Ambe and Mr. Nteta Philip, thank you. Your guidance and encouragement played an invaluable role in this journey.
To Seka Jean-Blaise, thank you for your collaboration, your constant encouragement, and for reminding me not to give up on the process during the moments when it felt most difficult. May God continue to bless and reward you abundantly.
To everyone whose name I may not have mentioned, please know that your support, advice, prayers, encouragement, collaboration, and belief in me have all contributed to this milestone. I am deeply grateful.

Thank you, Open Dreams, for giving me not only opportunities to grow personally, but also a platform to create impact. Through my work with Skolarr and our collaboration with the MTN Cameroon Foundation, I have had the privilege of serving and empowering many scholars here at OD, and that has been one of the greatest honours of my journey.
I also want to sincerely thank everyone who came to my send-off. Your presence, your kind words, your gifts, and the overwhelming show of love meant more than I can put into words. It reminded me that the relationships we build and the lives we touch are among the greatest investments we can ever make.
This is not the end, far from it. It is simply the beginning of another chapter.
I will always remain grateful to Open Dreams for believing in me, investing in me, and giving me a place to grow. No matter where this journey takes me, I remain committed to giving back, supporting as many scholars as possible, and contributing to the mission of this incredible organization in every way I can.
Thank you all once again.
Let's keep building. - Moses Afopezi | Open Dreams
