It was a pleasure to speak at the Oxford Global Health Society X Effective Altruism Oxford ‘Final talk of the year’, and join enriching discussions about Global Health at Worcester College, Oxford - University of Oxford

Digital/AI transformation in healthcare shouldn’t just check the boxes. It actually ought to change lives!
It’s moving past the mindset of “How can we use AI in this healthcare domain?”— a question that too often generates impressive solutions to problems that don’t actually exist. Hypothetical problems!
It involves a commitment to understanding the core problems in health and identifying how we can meaningfully contribute.

When Digital/AI in health aligns with the problem we've identified, the solution gains the potential to deliver real impact. #user-centred designs!
It may require a perspective shift or a cultural reorientation. It may even require convincing government officials or exhausted health personnel who give their best out there, that this time, technology may effectively help!
What other barriers stare us in the eyes? Join the conversation!
Thank you for the invitation, Oxford Global Health Society (OGHS) and Effective Altruism Oxford
