Open Dreams Summer Academy 2025 Matriculation | Batch of Fortitude

Today, July 12th, 2025, in the heart of Bamenda, where the Open Dreams seed was first planted in Cameroon, we proudly welcomed the newest cohort of Pre-Scholars into the Open Dreams Summer Academy — the Batch of Fortitude.

The Batch of Fortitude stands tall, not just because of their potential, but because they rise on the shoulders of the giants who came before them: trailblazers who have shattered ceilings, gained global recognition, and are giving back to uplift others.

As the first post-10th anniversary class, they enter a legacy built on a decade of resilience, excellence, and transformation. With the strength of their predecessors behind them and the power of their dreams ahead, they are poised to go far. The journey has begun, and the future is promising.

We are grateful to our partners - the Bamenda City Council Library, St. Louis University Institute and Mada International College, Yaoundé. With the partnership in place, we are able to take more students for the Open Dreams Summer Academy in Bamenda, Douala and Yaoundé. Open Dreams serves as an oasis of hope to many with higher ambitions.
