Teaching is not about pouring out knowledge, guiding or assisting the learners to understand concepts in Science or Mathematics. It is not about helping your learners retain laws, and principles or solve complex differential or quadratic equations.

Teaching is not just the transfer of information from the educator to the learner; if not, it would end up as head knowledge which can only in some cases, improve students’ academic results and thus no social and community impacts.
Teaching is not all about academic results, that is, improving performance, but no value added to a child’s life. There’s more to this.
Teaching is an art of love, a perfect transmission of knowledge and values from the heart of a more knowledgeable, lovable, enthusiastic, dedicated, and charismatic person (facilitator) to the heart of a learner.
Note this: students don't learn from the best instructors, but from people who have proven beyond doubt that they love and care, people who are empathic. Learners wish to be understood, they value people who share in their laughter with them rather than laughing at them.

Students equally learn by observation given the fact that teaching can be both formal and informal. So, teacher, your attitude will determine the attitude of your learners and thus, their altitude. Be a role model!
Teaching can be fun and more engaging when the facilitator makes the classroom environment conducive, accepts every learner and gives everyone equal opportunity irrespective of their abilities and disabilities.
Teaching is a service and not a job. In my opinion, teaching is the best way to give back to your community because the hallmark of teaching is transforming the life of a child holistically and preparing him to be a better citizen. Someone who will build the community with or without you and, thus, a person who understands that his community is his pride and priority.

Part two.
Don't join the teaching core if you are not called or if your primary motive is to make money. You will be frustrated after your first two paid checks, coupled with the behaviors of some learners who just want more care and love. Don't just teach; be intentional in creating a lasting impact.
My teaching philosophy is simple: teach with love, and accept everyone irrespective of their abilities or disabilities, culture, sexual orientation, race, or background. I strive every second to make my classroom conducive, fun, interesting, and engaging, making science tangible and mathematics real by using hands-on activities, technology, and real-world examples. This has never failed me, it has made me a role model to my learners and colleagues.
Teaching is indeed a service to humanity, and the community and not just a job. In my next world, I would still love to be a teacher, an educator with a difference. It is on this note that I wish to appreciate all the educators in the world who are making a difference in their communities and beyond., I am one of you. Let’s keep doing it.
