Empowering STEMIES | Nouriatu Leinyuy Mayenin

On Sunday, November 17th, 2024, I had the privilege of hosting an inspiring session for girls, at the Open Dreams Center in Yaoundé.

The day started with a heartfelt word of prayer, setting the tone for inspiration and growth.

Next, I led an engaging computer literacy session, where the girls learned to create their emails and how to explore the Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Slides, and more).

Seka Jean Blaise, my mentor and President of DeWise, delivered a powerful talk on building self-confidence and believing in the beauty of your dreams.

Assen Nsongan Gabrielle Victoire, (English High School Student, Yaounde) presented on menstrual hygiene emphasizing self-care and good health practices.

The session concluded with remarkable feedback from the girls, filled with curiosity, determination, and enthusiasm.

Witnessing their engagement throughout the sessions was truly fulfilling.
