During the fifth week of two-month-long Open Dreams Summer Academy, about 45 bright young scholars proudly reconnected with their roots through dance, storytelling, and local dishes!

From benskin beats to greetings in mother tongues, the week was filled with joy, identity, and discovery. Scholars like Faith Ngemenyi (NW Region) and Roxana Kawya (Far North) showcased traditions they’ve grown curious about and tasted delicious cultural meals too!

Chief Organizer Naimbu Fogue Bresdelle reminded us: “Many youth don’t even know how to say ‘good morning’ in their dialect. This week helps them reclaim that.”
🗓️ Cultural Day: Friday, August 8
📍 MADA International School, Yaoundé.
Open Dreams is not just building scholars - it’s building cultural pride.
