Epiphanie joined the Open Dreams Summer Academy in 2021 as a bright and driven mentee. Just two years later, she returned—not as a participant, but as a Mentor and Program Facilitator, playing a pivotal role in planning, scholar selection, and delivering impactful sessions. Her leadership and maturity have continually inspired both peers and mentors.

Beyond the Academy, Epiphanie has shown an unwavering commitment to community impact. She was instrumental in the Open Dreams Graduate Summit, #ODGS2024, as part of the logistics team. Her passion for education and innovation also places her at the heart of the organize of the yearly TiC Summits, an initiative that empowers youth in tech and bridges them to future careers.

One of Epiphanie’s most heartfelt contributions lies in her three-year leadership in Aviva Week Program, a deeply human initiative supporting children with neonatal conditions, while promoting health research and education on congenital anomalies. From fundraising and logistics to hospital visits and gift distribution, she poured her heart into the cause—bringing hope, smiles, and relief to families in distress. Her reflections on this experience show a rare depth of empathy and service.

Creatively, Epiphanie found her voice through photography, discovering the art of storytelling through a lens thanks to the Bright Foundation's Lens of Life project, in partnership with Canon. Her eye for beauty and emotion continues to capture powerful moments that speak louder than words.

In tech and education, Epiphanie stands at the frontline. She is an active leader in Skolarr, an educational mobile app helping students in conflict-affected regions continue their studies remotely. She manages content, leads communications, and oversees finances, proving that she is as capable behind the scenes as she is on the frontlines.

Her leadership also extends to national impact through the MTN Cameroon Skills Academy, where she and her team successfully coordinated editions in Yaoundé and Buéa—helping hundreds of students gain valuable 21st-century skills. Her thoughtful care for delegate experience and logistics contributed significantly to the program’s expansion to other cities.

Despite this full plate, Epiphanie remains committed to her own growth—balancing academics with sports like American football, tennis, and hiking, embodying a well-rounded spirit.

Epiphanie Ngasoh is a mentor, a builder, a leader, and a compassionate changemaker. Her journey is a concrete example of what is possible when talent meets purpose and when dreams are nurtured with dedication.

Open Dreams is proud to celebrate Epiphanie, who symbolizes excellence and a living example of impact in motion. Dedicated individuals like you are the driving force behind the success of Open Dreams and its partner organizations. It is through our collective efforts that we thrive—and together, we are shaping a more promising future.
