Beyond proud graduating with an MEd in TESOL with Distinction | Rasifatu Yiviri

Saturday, 14th December 2024, marked the end of one of the most challenging but fulfilling chapters of my life. I am beyond proud to celebrate graduating with an MEd in TESOL with Distinction from the University of Exeter!

This journey has been nothing short of extraordinary. It was a year filled with challenges, resilience, growth, and triumph. It wasn’t always easy, but every setback shaped me, and every victory reaffirmed my purpose.

I am deeply grateful to the Hornby Trust and the University of Exeter for granting me this life-changing opportunity. To my incredible family, friends, classmates, and teachers, thank you for standing by me and being my pillars of strength throughout this journey. I couldn’t have done it without you!

This milestone represents more than a degree. It reflects the transformative learning and personal growth that have prepared me to take bold steps forward in my academic and professional journey. As I turn the page, I am committed to using the knowledge and skills I’ve gained to inspire and drive meaningful change in education, not just in my community, but globally.

The finish line of one race marks the starting line of another, and I am ready to embrace the future with passion, determination, and purpose.
