A Heartwarming Visit to Ashesi University | Nzakame Bonse

We are thriving in Ghana and representing Open Dreams strongly as well. Earlier in September 2025, Fabiola Fikue and I (Bonse) from KNUST had the privilege of visiting some of the Open Dreams Scholars at Ashesi University, and they welcomed us with incredible warmth.

We bonded with the Open Dreams/MasterCard Scholars, Tomoh Claude, Tchio Thierry, and Hannah Pohmahmbuh, who made us feel at home. They even clothed us in Ashesi T-shirts, which we now proudly hold dear as symbols of belonging and of the strong bond that unites Open Dreams Scholars across institutions.

It was a beautiful visit, filled with the true Open Dreams spirit. During the priceless moments we shared, we reflected on the opportunities hidden within challenges and reaffirmed our shared commitment to giving back to our communities and creating impact wherever we find ourselves
