A Delegation from the Ministry of Territorial Administration, MINAT visits the Open Dreams Center in Yaounde - Cameroon

In the last quarter of the year, we welcomed several important delegations to the Open Dreams Center in Yaoundé. Among them was a high-level team from the Ministry of Territorial Administration (MINAT), led by Mr. DOOH Jean-Jaques, Chief of Service for Associations; Mme Suzanne Billong, Chief of the Bureau of Associations; and Mme Marie Makodem of the same bureau. The mission, which was at the Open Dreams Center on September 24th, 2025, was delegated by Mme Crescence Ankamtsene, Sub-Director in Charge of Public Liberties at MINAT.

The discussions were highly productive, with valuable recommendations from the MINAT team. The discussions were very productive with key recommendations from the MINAT team, focused on complementing the efforts of the government in key areas of the SDGs, among them Quality Education, Technology, Health, Youth Empowerment, while enhancing social cohesion.

After an overview of Open Dreams Scholars and the organization as a whole, the team highlighted the national development priorities of the government and the importance of synergy in achieving them.

Before leaving, the Country Director of Open Dreams, Akaba James, on behalf of the global Open Dreams Family, thanked them for the oversight and the support.
