Mekila Ngwambe of Open Dreams receives Scotland’s most prestigious Award for Entrepreneurship

Big congratulations to Mekila Ngwambe (MK) for becoming the first African graduate of a Scottish University to be invited back to Scotland by the Scottish Government and Business Community to receive Scotland’s most prestigious award for Entrepreneurship: The Scottish Edge Award, and grabbing the award from Scotland’s Minister of Entrepreneurship and Investment.

From a MasterCard Foundation Scholar at the University of Edinburgh to a Schwarzman Scholar, and back to Scotland as an award recipient, this has been a phenomenal journey!

Here is the potential and ambition that Open Dreams unlocks. This is what it means to leave your mark, to stretch your limits, and to thrive (in the words of his book) Against the Odds!
