Youth 2 Youth (Y2Y) is a youth-led organization that advocates for improved adolescent healthcare in Cameroon, especially in the communities. For the past two years, the organization has organized multiple community outreaches within Bamenda and other remote communities that have very limited access to healthcare as a result of the ongoing conflict in the region.

On Saturday the 25th of April, Y2Y in collaboration with the Bawock Think Tank Group, reached out to 700+ people in the different communities of Bawock Village in the NWR of Cameroon. Bawock is a community with very little access to healthcare that has been greatly affected by the ongoing political conflict.
During this outreach, the Y2Y team moved through all the neighborhoods in this community and educated the population on the current pandemic and the national measures to curb Covid-19. Five hundred face masks were distributed, coupled with hand sanitizers, buckets, and tablets of soap. The elites of Bawock deemed this project to be of high-value, hence the Paramount Leader of Bawock was present throughout the outreach.

Although the ongoing pandemic has brought about untold uncertainty, Y2Y is determined to contribute in any way possible in the fight against COVID-19. The organization is currently working on how to leverage technology in the fight against COVID-19.
