Dear African Youth, the realities of your past remain, but your future is yours to decide. Do not shrink. Keep Moving…

If you believe you were born to pioneer the reshaping, rebuilding, and reforming of systems, sectors, industries, or communities, it is possible.

You can be the FIRST to break into an industry and open the door for others to follow.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with different kinds of young people:

• The one who says, “I’ve tried, but the system won’t permit me.”

• The one who says, “Because there is no system, I will build one.”

Given the scale of challenges across our continent, we cannot limit ourselves to simply building projects, businesses, or careers alone.

We must also build the systems and structures that allow people, ideas, and innovation to thrive.

Real change begins the moment we choose to:

- Analyze the real problems

- Confront uncomfortable truths

- Commit ourselves to solving them

That is where transformation starts.

I strongly believe this: Whenever people decide to change a pattern, it changes - first individually, then collectively.

And the reality is this:

The world has evolved. The realities our parents faced are not the realities we face today.

Look around you.

The future will not be built by those waiting for permission.

It will be built by those willing to take responsibility.

Responsibility for:

• Their lives

• Their visions

• Their communities

• And the future they want to see

To those carrying bold visions - those who can see beyond the limitations of their environment - do not stop moving.

Inaction is not an option.

Africa is home.

Our countries are home.

Find the next person beside you.

Build alliances.

Take action.

Shed fear.

Shed doubt.

Shed smallness.

Move with love.

Move with wisdom.

Move with purpose.

Move together.

Not everyone will resonate with this message.

But if you do, keep moving.

I am Callis Vishiti - a transformational speaker and youth empowerment advocate passionate about helping ambitious young people grow globally without losing their authenticity or sense of self.
