Big news from the Open Dreams Douala Hub family

For 3 years, the Summer Academy in Douala found a home at St Louis University Bonamoussadi, thanks to the generosity of Dr. Nick Ngwanyam and Dr. Mrs. Florence Ngwanyam, to whom we owe our gratitude. This year, for the first time, Open Dreams Douala has a space of its own — a dedicated hub in Bonaberi that we can truly call home.

But right now, that space is empty. No chairs. No tables. No whiteboard. No projector. Just walls and a deadline. The Summer Academy in Douala opens on July 13th, 2026, and we have a few weeks to change that.

Whether you sat in those sessions as a scholar, gave your time as a volunteer, or poured your energy in as a facilitator, this hub is being built for you and because of you. Now we need you to help us build it. If you are passionate about supporting the dreams of young people and contributing to building sustainable and resilient societies, right from the foundation, which is human capital development, enabling young dreamers to reach their full potential, this is a chance to be part of such a great mission.
